When I was growing up I had a lot of friends. As a matter of fact, if you asked me, everyone seemed to be my friend. My mother often told me that there was no way that everyone could be a friend. I always choose peace above discord and wanted the same for my friends. Love and peace are still my conscious choice for all our human interaction. Growing up I was good at sports, a good teammate, and was admired by many. Despite the remnants of Jim Crow; race and religion never mattered to me. I still hold those things to be self-evident that all men are created free. As a result of the way I treat others, I have attracted an amazing network of friends. I am truly blessed to be able to experience the honest sharing that happens between people seeking to understand life and the way we experience the world around us. After all, that is what life is all about, right?
There is a difference between friends and associates. Associates may be people we can not avoid as we work and play, but friends are a more conscious relationship choice. Either way, we are influenced by whom we are connected to. You can tell a lot about a person by who their friends are. You can’t pick your family either, but somehow we seem attract people who reflect ourselves and give us the opportunity to learn key life lessons. For instance, as a result of my life experiences with addictions and health challenges, I am always working to create an atmosphere conducive to my wellness and the wellness of others by being a vessel for positive energetic vibrations and information. As a result, when I need unconditional love, through God’s grace, it has always been available in abundance. For this I am grateful. What is your experience and purpose in life?
We create our reality through the universal laws of attraction and reciprocity. This world is currently going through some major changes that is calling in to question how we as humans will interact with each other and the planet we inhabit. Like the way we relate to each other is most important to what happens in our families, how we build our relationships with friends and associates is important to our communities and ultimately the entire world. In this world though, some level of humility and acceptance of others views and feelings are needed in order to peacefully coexist. It is so unfortunate that there are so many greedy, power thirsty, inconsiderate people who have taken advantage of the pliant and peaceful nature of many. They make it a much less enjoyable life experience for so many of us just so they can be in control. Unfortunately, we have to find a way to minimize their negative effect on our planet and human existence. This is our world we live in, so the question is; when crisis shows up in your life, how do you deal with the stress of the world and are your friends and family there for you with the healing power of love when you need it most?
Life is all about relationships. There is much in the world we can not control. Stress is a destructive force that causes disharmony and lowers our immune systems. Our immune systems are the last line of defense against the viruses and bacteria that are plaguing us now. The power of love is the most attractive and healing force in the universe. It may seem counterintuitive, but loyalty, integrity and humility attract more of the same from others; often tenfold. As a result, I have an awesome circle of friends that love me unconditionally. They have proven the healing power of love through joy and crisis, and continue to do so overwhelmingly. We are a “soul group” connected through eternity who have agreed eons ago to re-member our purpose in this life, at this time. You are reading this, and most of you do so religiously, then you are my friend, and I love you unconditionally. I don’t know what you thought you came back to do, but I came to tell you, my friend, we are here to love and heal the world and each other!! After all, you are more than a follower; you are a WARrior! It is time to RISE4WAR!!
